HOW TO APPLY
Applicants should complete the initial online application form clearly explaining the experience or project to be pursued particularly providing information on the following areas-
- How an award will remove/avoid a perceived barrier.
- Its impact upon a future career.
- Its impact upon the community (long and short term).
- How the impacts will be measured in terms of key milestones both in terms of the individual and the community.
- The level of funding required
- Offer a nominating body/person
The Selection Process will consist of:
An Initial Selection Process on the basis of the written application, which will be vetted by a relevant industry body.
A main selection process that will be by a face-to-face interview/presentation. The Selection Panel will meet at regular intervals. At the end of each process, each interview panel will nominate successful applicants to a plenary session of the panels that will make a final decision. Creative industries specialists will be invited to selection panels, whether they are Film, TV or Music.
Each candidate will be given feedback on his or her application.
Unsuccessful candidates can appeal.
Awards will be distributed via the Coalfields Regeneration Trust following the recommendation of the Selection Panel.
